Exterior painting in Kelowna is a scheduling and access job before it is a painting job. Our exterior painters plan each house around its orientation, its height and the weather window: west walls in the morning before the afternoon heat, shaded north sides later in the day, and walk-out elevations on hillside lots with the right ladders or staging booked in advance. That planning is why paint goes onto surfaces at the right temperature and cures the way it should.
We are a local crew working out of Petch Road, so every estimate is done in person. We look at each elevation, flag soft wood and failed caulking, and note which colours need extra coats. You get one written price covering prep, primer, two finish coats and cleanup, and anything hidden we find once work starts is discussed with you before it is added.
On Kelowna's hillsides (Upper Mission, Dilworth, Black Mountain, Wilden) many homes face west over the valley or lake and take the full afternoon sun. Those walls fade and chalk well ahead of the rest. We wash off the chalk, prime where needed, suggest colours that hold up on hot elevations and paint them when the surface is not baking.
Rutland, Glenmore and parts of the Lower Mission have plenty of older stucco homes with wood trim. Stucco develops hairline cracks through freeze-thaw winters, and trim dries out and splits in the summer heat. We fill cracks with flexible patching, use breathable masonry coatings on stucco and repair or seal failing wood before it is painted.
Kelowna's reliable exterior season runs from late spring to early fall, and wildfire smoke or summer heat waves can pause work for a day or two. Booking your estimate in winter or early spring gives you the widest choice of dates. We watch the forecast and move days rather than paint in conditions that shorten paint life.
Exterior work changes a lot across Kelowna. Homes in the Upper Mission, Black Mountain, Dilworth and Wilden are often tall walk-outs on slopes, which means more access planning. Rutland and Glenmore have many older stucco and wood-trim houses where prep takes the most time. Much of Kettle Valley's newer siding mainly needs a clean and a colour refresh, while Lower Mission and South Pandosy homes near the lake see more moisture on shaded walls.
Most Kelowna exteriors take two to five days. Price depends on height and access (a three-storey walk-out in the Upper Mission needs more staging than a Rutland rancher), how much scraping and crack repair the walls need, the siding type and the number of colours. Rotten trim is priced separately once we can see it. Booking before the summer rush gives you more flexibility on dates. The written estimate is free and covers every side of the house.

“We are very pleased with the service from Prestige Painting Inc.! They were incredibly friendly, communicative, and prompt. They painted the entire interior of our home. They did a very thorough job patching old holes/dents, and the final finish looks amazing!”
“We recently used Prestige Painting to paint our entire office. The process was great and efficient and pricing. Akash was the lead for our project and was very communicative and even caught some areas needing touch ups that I even missed. Touch ups were completed in a timely fashion. Office looks great and employees are happy with the fresh coat of paint.”
“Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Prestige Painting. They arrived for the quote on time and went over all concerns. They arrived on time for the pre walk-through to make sure of colour choice and go over the process again. They arrived on time to paint and did a flawless job!!!”

Earlier is better. The warm, dry months are the only reliable time for exterior paint here, so summer dates fill first. Booking your free estimate in winter or early spring gives you the best choice of dates, and we can start as soon as the weather is consistently warm and dry.
We adjust. Heavy smoke is a health concern for the crew, ash can land in wet paint, and very hot surfaces make paint dry too fast to level and bond well. On those days we move to shaded sides, start earlier or shift the date, and keep you updated on the schedule.
Yes. Walk-out basements on sloped lots often create a three-storey back wall with uneven ground below. We plan access during the estimate, using extension ladders, planks or rented staging as needed, and include it in your written price so access is not a surprise cost later.
