Interior painting in Kelowna usually starts with one of three homes: a builder-beige house in Wilden or Kettle Valley, an older Rutland or Glenmore split-level with years of patched walls, or a condo being readied for sale or a new tenant. Each one needs a different plan. We walk the rooms with you, check wall condition, sheen and ceiling height, and put the scope in writing, so you know exactly which rooms, surfaces and colours are included before a drop sheet goes down.
Because our shop is on Petch Road, small jobs are practical for us: a single hallway, a spot painting visit to cover scuffs before a listing, or touch-ups after a move. Larger repaints are scheduled room by room so you can keep living in the house. Big lake- and valley-facing windows show every lap mark and roller line, so we cut in carefully and roll each wall in one continuous pass.
The Okanagan gets long, sunny days, and open-plan homes in the Upper Mission and on Black Mountain often have tall windows facing the lake or valley. Low-angle light exposes patched spots and uneven sheen. We prime every repair, keep the sheen consistent wall to wall and check our work with the blinds open, not only under ceiling lights.
Many newer homes have two-storey entries, open stairwells and vaulted great rooms. These are the walls homeowners skip, and the ones that end up looking most tired. We bring the ladders, planks and staging to paint them safely, and plan them into the schedule so the rest of the house is not held up.
The dry climate and big seasonal temperature swings make drywall seams open, nail pops appear and corner bead crack, especially in the first years after a build. We fix these during prep, using flexible caulk at trim joints and proper filler on seams, so the cracks are far less likely to reappear through the new paint a season later.
We paint interiors in every part of Kelowna. In Rutland and Glenmore that often means older split-levels with textured ceilings and well-used trim. In Kettle Valley, Wilden and the University District it is newer homes and rentals moving off builder colours. Downtown and South Pandosy bring condos with strata rules on hours and elevators, while the Upper and Lower Mission, Dilworth and Black Mountain have larger homes with high walls and big windows.
A single room in Kelowna typically runs $300–$800 and takes about a day; a full interior usually runs $2,500–$6,000+ over three to five days. What moves the number: ceiling height (two-storey entries add staging time), the number of colours, how much patching the walls need, and whether trim and doors are included. Condos can add time for elevator bookings and hallway protection. Travel is not a factor because we are local, and the written estimate is free.

“We recently used Prestige Painting to paint our entire office. The process was great and efficient and pricing. Akash was the lead for our project and was very communicative and even caught some areas needing touch ups that I even missed. Touch ups were completed in a timely fashion. Office looks great and employees are happy with the fresh coat of paint.”
“Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Prestige Painting. They arrived for the quote on time and went over all concerns. They arrived on time for the pre walk-through to make sure of colour choice and go over the process again. They arrived on time to paint and did a flawless job!!!”

Yes. Being based on Petch Road means small jobs make sense for us. We take single rooms, hallways and spot painting to cover scuffs, patched holes or marks left after moving furniture. If you have leftover paint we can use it; if not, we colour-match and paint to the nearest corner so the repair does not show.
Yes. Downtown and South Pandosy condo buildings often limit working hours, require elevator bookings and want hallway carpets protected. We follow your strata's rules, book the elevator in advance and keep paint and tools inside the unit, so your neighbours are not stepping around our gear in the corridor.
Any time. Interior work does not depend on the weather, so fall through spring is often easier to book than summer, when exterior jobs fill the calendar. Winter suits rooms you can ventilate well, and a spring repaint works nicely if you plan to list your home before summer.
