Exterior painting in Peachland has to handle two conditions at once. Homes close to Okanagan Lake pick up morning dew and humidity off the water, while hillside lots above town take long hours of strong summer sun with little shade. Trim, fascia and south-facing siding usually fail first. We wash, scrape, sand, caulk and spot-prime before any finish goes on, and we only paint when surfaces are dry and warm enough for the product.
We paint wood and fibre-cement siding, stucco, trim, soffits, garage doors, front doors and fences on houses and townhomes across Peachland. Most homes take 2–5 days, scheduled between late spring and early fall. On steep lots with tall walk-out elevations we plan ladder and access setups during the estimate, so there are no surprises on the first morning.
Close to the water, siding and trim can stay damp well into the morning even on a clear summer day. We test surfaces before painting and start lake-facing elevations once the dew has burned off, which gives the paint a dry surface to bond to and avoids blistering from trapped moisture.
Many Peachland homes sit on slopes, with one storey at the street and two or three at the back. Those rear walls need proper ladder footing, planks or lifts, and protection for decks and landscaping below. We plan access during the estimate and include it in the written quote.
Plenty of older homes around town combine stucco walls with wood trim and fascia. Stucco needs hairline-crack repair and a breathable masonry coating, while the trim beside it needs scraping and primer. We treat them as two separate prep jobs inside one quote so neither surface gets shortchanged.
We paint home exteriors throughout Peachland: lakeside houses and townhomes in Downtown and near Beach Avenue, established streets in Trepanier, and hillside view homes in Ponderosa, Turner Hill and Upper Peachland. The higher neighbourhoods get more wind and full-day sun, so we often suggest UV-resistant finishes and lighter trim colours there, while waterfront properties need extra attention to mildew during washing.
Exterior pricing in Peachland depends mostly on height and access, how much scraping the sun-damaged trim needs, stucco crack repair and the number of colours. A steep rear elevation can take as long as the rest of the house combined. Most homes take 2–5 days. Late spring to early fall is the only reliable painting window, so booking early helps, and a written quote locks in the scope before work starts.

“We recently used Prestige Painting to paint our entire office. The process was great and efficient and pricing. Akash was the lead for our project and was very communicative and even caught some areas needing touch ups that I even missed. Touch ups were completed in a timely fashion. Office looks great and employees are happy with the fresh coat of paint.”
“Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Prestige Painting. They arrived for the quote on time and went over all concerns. They arrived on time for the pre walk-through to make sure of colour choice and go over the process again. They arrived on time to paint and did a flawless job!!!”

Yes, with planning. In July and August we follow the shade around the house, painting each side after direct sun has moved off it. Paint applied to hot siding dries too fast and can lap or blister, so working with the sun's path matters on exposed hillside lots.
Yes. Shaded and lake-facing walls near the water can grow mildew. We wash with a mildew cleaner, let the surface dry completely and use a primer and topcoat suited to damp exposures, so the growth does not come back through the new paint.
Homes close to the highway collect a fine layer of road grime on siding and trim, and paint will not bond well over it. We wash those walls as part of prep and paint once they are dry. After the job, a gentle rinse once a year helps keep the finish clean.
