New construction painting in Kelowna runs on the builder's calendar. Hillside subdivisions, infill duplexes and carriage houses all move from drywall to paint to flooring on tight dates, and a painter who slips a week pushes back every trade behind them. We price the job clearly, confirm dates with your site super and show up when booked. From a single custom home to a multi-unit development, the approach is the same: agree on scope, agree on dates, and stick to them.
Our office is on Petch Road and we are open seven days a week, which helps when a schedule shifts and a weekend day is needed to stay on track. We are licensed, insured and WorkSafeBC-compliant, which matters on active sites, and the owner is reachable directly by phone when plans or dates change for builders, project managers or site supers.
Custom homes in the Upper Mission, Black Mountain, Wilden and Kettle Valley often have tall entries, open-to-below stairs and walls of windows. We plan staging and spray work for those high areas early, so they are finished before railings and flooring go in and the rest of the house can keep moving.
Kelowna infill projects (duplexes, fourplexes and carriage houses) and larger multi-unit developments need consistent colours and sheens in every unit. We record products and colours per unit, work through units in a set order and keep deficiency lists by unit, so the developer has a clear record at handover.
The dry Okanagan climate means primer and paint dry quickly, which helps a tight schedule. Drywall mud still needs to be fully cured before priming, though, and exterior paint still needs the right temperatures. We check surfaces before we start rather than paint over work that is not ready.
New construction in Kelowna ranges from hillside subdivisions to infill lots. We paint new homes in Wilden, Kettle Valley, the Upper Mission and Black Mountain, infill builds and carriage houses in Glenmore, Rutland, South Pandosy and the Lower Mission, and multi-unit and rental projects near Downtown and the University District. Renovations and additions in Dilworth and older parts of the city fall under our builder work too.
New construction painting in Kelowna is priced per project or per square foot, depending on what suits the builder. Ceiling heights, the number of colours and sheens, sprayed versus rolled finishes, trim and door counts, and exterior siding all affect the number. Schedule matters too: split visits around other trades take more time than one continuous block. Post-trade touch-ups are included in our scope. Send plans for a written quote.

“We recently used Prestige Painting to paint our entire office. The process was great and efficient and pricing. Akash was the lead for our project and was very communicative and even caught some areas needing touch ups that I even missed. Touch ups were completed in a timely fashion. Office looks great and employees are happy with the fresh coat of paint.”
“Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Prestige Painting. They arrived for the quote on time and went over all concerns. They arrived on time for the pre walk-through to make sure of colour choice and go over the process again. They arrived on time to paint and did a flawless job!!!”

Often, yes. We are local and open seven days a week, so we can sometimes shift crew days when drywall finishes early or a delay opens a gap. The more notice you give, the easier it is, so we stay in touch with your site super as dates move.
Yes. We paint for owner-builders and small builders as well as developers. We walk you through what the painter needs on site (finished drywall, a clean space, power and heat) and when to book, and we price the job clearly so it fits your budget and your build schedule.
Yes. Siding, trim, soffits and doors on new builds are part of our scope. Exterior paint has to go on in dry, warm weather, so on fall and winter builds we plan the exterior finish for spring and agree on how the wood will be protected until then.
