Pressure washing in Summerland removes the dust, pollen, cobwebs and chalky paint that build up through the dry Okanagan summer, plus the mildew that collects on shaded walls nearer the lake. We match pressure and nozzle to the surface: gentle washing for siding, soft wood and stucco, more pressure for concrete driveways and patios. Plants and gardens are protected while we work. Windows and doors are kept closed and covered where needed.
Most Summerland customers book washing as prep for painting or staining, since paint will not bond to a dirty or chalky surface. It is included in our exterior painting prep. We also do standalone washes for spring clean-ups, pre-listing photos and storefronts, quoted after a free on-site look. We rinse windows and frames at the end so the house looks clean all round.
Homes next to orchards, vineyards and gravel lanes in Summerland pick up a fine dust layer and irrigation spotting on lower walls. We pre-wet, use a suitable cleaner and rinse top to bottom so the dust does not streak down freshly cleaned siding.
North-facing and tree-shaded walls in Lower Town and Trout Creek stay damp longer and grow mildew and green algae. We treat these areas, use low pressure so soft siding and old wood are not damaged, and check that everything dries before painting.
Washing is the first step of every exterior repaint and deck stain we do. Booking washing on its own is fine, but if you plan to paint this season, combining them avoids two separate trips from Kelowna and gets the surfaces ready at the right time.
We pressure wash homes, decks and patios throughout Summerland: older siding in Downtown Summerland, lakeside homes in Lower Town and Trout Creek, and acreage properties in Prairie Valley and Garnet Valley where dust and long driveways are common. On steep lots around Giants Head, we plan hose runs and runoff carefully so water does not end up where it should not.
Pressure washing cost in Summerland depends on the size of the home, how many surfaces are included (siding, deck, fence, driveway, patio), access on sloped lots and how much mildew or dust has built up. Washing is included when we paint your exterior. Standalone washes are most efficient when several surfaces are booked together in one visit, because travel from Kelowna is the same either way.

“We recently used Prestige Painting to paint our entire office. The process was great and efficient and pricing. Akash was the lead for our project and was very communicative and even caught some areas needing touch ups that I even missed. Touch ups were completed in a timely fashion. Office looks great and employees are happy with the fresh coat of paint.”
“Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Prestige Painting. They arrived for the quote on time and went over all concerns. They arrived on time for the pre walk-through to make sure of colour choice and go over the process again. They arrived on time to paint and did a flawless job!!!”

No. Washing is already part of our exterior painting prep. We wash a day or two ahead so surfaces dry fully before we scrape and prime. You only need to book it separately if you want washing without painting.
Yes. Stucco is washed at low pressure with the right cleaner. High pressure can erode the surface or force water behind it, so we keep the nozzle at a safe distance and focus on rinsing rather than blasting.
Spring is popular because it clears winter grime before patio season, and early summer works well ahead of painting. We avoid freezing temperatures, since water left in cracks and on decks can freeze overnight. Fall works too.
